Well, I don't know why I haven't done that before, but I am thinking about leaving this place for a reason that may seem weird for a lot of you, but I feel like everything that isn't necessary has to be removed.

Now that there's a nuclear disaster in Japan, I feel that the thing we can all do to stop building nuclear power plants (particularly in France, as we have one new building at the moment) is to show we don't need it.

And for this, we have to control our demand in electricity.

I am a musician, I play the electric bass, I already use too much electricity with amps and spot lights and loud speakers etc , I don't need to waste a bit more electricity comming here,  uploading HD images, stocking them in huges servers and having them upload here on my screen in france (that probably uses a lot of servers hence, a lot of electricity...).
I don't need all that to live my musician life, I can find another way to share my pictures. Maybe the whole wolrd will not see my images but I don't care, I just make images because I like what I see everyday around me, when I go on a walk.

Everything is beautyful where I live, I feel like I would love to keep it as it is forever : mountains, plants, animals, insects, all these wonders deserve to live forever, just take some time to open your eyes, feel the air, listen to every bird, feel the rain on your hands, and think about what you can do to keep these treasures forever.

Even if you feel that what you are doing is too little to be helpful. I believe that if everybody has the will to do something, even a very little thing, then it will become big and it will have a great impact.

One of all the little things I do to show I care is to leave this place as I don't really need it anymore

Please think about all that, if you want to do little things you too then I won't be alone and what we are doing will become bigger and bigger.
I don't ask you to leave DA, I just want you think about all these little things you can do to show you don't need or you don't want something, I call it the power of the consumer.

I don't want a new nuclear plant : show you don't need it
I don't want pesticides and OGM : show you don't need them by trying to buy organic
I don't want animal suffering : don't buy meat from mass breeding
I don't want everything I buy wrapped in tons of useless plastic : refuse plastic bags in shops and buy less plastic wrapped things
etc...

We can all do something, even if it is a little thing, even if it isn't everything I have listed above.
We can do that for everything
We are the ones who are buying so, we can have the Offer to change.
